摘要
The bridge response under turbulent wind with yaw angle, i.e. under a wind not coming from normal to the bridge axis, was studied. Cantilever flat plate models showed a peculiar response which became larger than expected under the wind coming from the free end direction. A modified buffeting analysis was proposed with which the experimental findings were generally well explained.
