摘要：
The theoretical understanding on the W(100) surface reconstruction and hydrogen adsorption effects by Monte Carlo simulation is reviewed after a brief survey of experimental and theoretical results on this surface. In addition, related subjects of the Mo(100) surface are mentioned. Some preliminary results by the author's group and future problems are also discussed.
