摘要
The structural model of network architecture is developed and used for analysis and design of network management systems. The model is based on the object oriented approach. The considered object class is called the Decision Unit (DEU). DEUs are elements of three dimensional functional space with decision, service, and functional types as dimensions. The embedding operation is defined which allows for functional specification of network management software at various levels of abstraction. The distinctive features of the proposed method are the explicit specification of control and management interfaces and the direct method of linking objects into software packages.
