摘要
Three new autosomal recessive genes are described in the oriental fruit fly, Bactrocera dorsalis (Hendel). They are associated in the same linkage group as the previously described mandarin red (ma) and matte (mt) genes. Elongate puparium (ep) and robust puparium (rp) result from the failure of the third instar to contract properly during pupariation. ep is significantly longer and narrower than the wild-type puparium. rp is significantly shorter and wider than the wild-type puparium. Melanistic (me) is characterized by a black puparium and a darkly pigmented adult.
