摘要
In 90 (43.9%) out of 205 patients suffering from electroneurographically confirmed carpal tunnel syndrome that was treated surgically, the syndrome was also present in at least one other member of the family (mostly the mother). Whereas thickening or fibrosis of the flexor synovialis is the most common cause of manifestation of CTS, the inherited carpal tunnel syndrome is probably the predisposing aetiological factor.
