摘要
The article offers a view of the nation-state as a territorial dimension of a nation-nation, based on the method of cross-cultural analysis of semantic equivalents, appealing to the essence of social phenomena in different cultures, rather than their formal designations. Together with the systems logic, this method forms the basis of the system-communication approach to history, which considers the nation as a system manifestation of sociality and communication in history. This transdisciplinary approach makes it possible to distinguish various stage forms of the territorial dimension of a nation as the social integrity of a nation and state: from tribal territories and tribal lands to ethnic territories and nation states, up to "post-national" problems of subnational territories.
