摘要
The effect of chronic alcohol treatment on sexual parameters of the male rats was studied. The results showed that the ingestion of cognac leads to signficant alterations in the sexual behaviour of the male rat. Sexual parameters indicated that sexual behaviour is drastically affected by cognac consumption. The parameters affected were the number of ejaculation; initial latency, ejaculation latencies and neuromotor activities which showed significant variation (P < 0.01). Further, mounts without, with and total intromissions and refractory periods were signficantly affected by alcohol consumption. In addition, the percentage of tests during which an ejaculation was observed was significantly reduced (P < 0.01) in the alcohol-treated males when compared with control groups.
