摘要
This paper presents a number of results of ESPRIT Project No 322, CAD Interfaces (CAD I). In particular, the development of methods for transfer and integration of product analysis data is reported on. Methods used for the modelling of finite element data are discussed, the concepts and syntax of the neutral file are introduced and a summary of the logical file content is given. The achievements of the project are shown in the variety of interfacing software which has been written and the number of product models which have been successfully exchanged. The development of methods for integration of product analysis data, has focused on a study of techniques to integrate finite element analysis and testing for structure dynamic analysis (vibration analysis). Achievements in the area of correlation analysis, design sensitivity analysis and FEA model updating are discussed. The paper also summarizes the commercial exploitation of the results. © 1990 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
