摘要：
Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae causing leaf spot on pepper seedlings grown in a plant bed is reported in Italy for the first time. The pathogen was identified by means of biochemical, physiological and pathogenicity tests as well as by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of whole-cell proteins. The bacterial isolates showed positive for ice nucleation and biocide production.
