摘要
A new one way valve made of PVC allows to drain free air and liquid out of the chest in large and small dogs as well as cats. Although small and flexible, the valve can hardly ever be stuck by moisture or liquids. Luer joining ends guarantee the quick, airtight and safe connection to the new thoracic catheter as well as to the drainage appliance. The apparatus can be fastened to the patient's skin by 2-4 simple interrupted sutures.
