摘要：
A report of a pelvic inflammatory disease associated to an ovarian abcess related to the presence of an intra-uterine device is given. The bacteriological analysis of the samples obtained from coelioscopy shows Streptococcus pneumoniae. The evolution with amoxicillin-clavulanate acid and norfloxacin followed by a per os relay is good. The physiopathology of the infection is debated
