摘要
This paper describes the application of mathematical analysis and computer methods to the prediction of the thermal behavior of space vehicle window systems. A computer program was developed for predicting temperatures and fluxes in one-dimension in space coordinates for multiple-pane windows under various transient thermal conditions imposed by convective and radiative heat transport at their boundaries. In addition to computer predictions, laboratory experiments were carried out to test the validity of the computer program. Agreement between computed and measured results is shown to be generally good. © 1969 American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc., All rights reserved.
