In order to obtain the values of the static dielectric constants of La2CuO4 in the directions parallel and perpendicular to the base plane the low-frequency impedance measurements of single crystal samples were carried out. The temperature dependences of capacitance C(T) and conductance G(T) have been investigated at T > 1.2K within the frequency interval 0.5 < omega < 10kHz. Static dielectric constants epsilon perpendicular-to, parallel-to were obtained by extrapolation of the functions C(T) to the zero temperature. Calculated by the same procedure epsilon perpendicular-to = 35 and epsilon parallel-to = 105 do not depend on the measurement frequency. The sample investigated is close to the 2D insulator-to-metal transition, and for this reason the anisotropy of the epsilon appears.
