摘要：
Schwannomas are benign neoplasms of the peripheral nerve sheath of Schwann. The tumor consists of an encapsulated tissue mass composed of two cell types, designated as Antoni A and B.1 The head and neck region is the most common site for such benign nerve sheath neoplasms. However, few cases of this tumor have been reported occurring in the infratemporal fossa.2 Local excision is the treatment of choice as the tumor is nonresponsive to radiotherapy.3. © 1991.
