摘要
The magnetization of vanadium-phosphate glasses doped with nickel oxide, namely, [(V2O5)0.6(P2O5)0.4]1-x[NiO]x, x = 0, 2, 5, 10 and 15 wt%, has been studied. It is found that the number of V4+ ions increases with concentration of NiO, is maximum for 10 wt%, and then decreases. The magnetization results are in good agreement with XPS and electrical studies performed on these glasses.
