摘要
The objective of this research is to evaluate the sense of stigma and quality of life related to health treatment adherence in patients with HIV/AIDS. For this, three instruments were applied, Thesens Estigma Scale (Miric, 2004), HealthQuestionnaireSF-36 (International Quality of Life Assessment, 1999) and instrument for measuring psychological variables and adherence to treatment behaviors in persons who are seropositive for HIV (Pina, 2006), in a sample of 104 people. Through the Pearson correlation coefficient was obtained that the correlation between variables sens stigma and adherence to treatment is moderate and negative (-0.25). Furthermore, HRQOL but also has a high positive correlation on treatment adherence (0.46). 22% of the total variance of treatment adherence is explained by the variables studied, being together, predictors of treatment adherence.
