MAGNETIC DOMAIN-STRUCTURE OF SINTERED FE-ND-B TYPE PERMANENT-MAGNETS AND MAGNETOSTATIC GRAIN INTERACTION

摘要
The domain width of Fe14Nd2B single crystal plates with different thicknesses and of grains of FeNdB-sintermagnets is investigated using the magneto-optical Kerr-effect. The results obtained in grains and plates are comparable with theoretical predictions and yield a domain wall energy of 24 erg/cm2 and the magnetic coupling between grains in sintermagnets.
