摘要：

The supernumerary inflorescence mutant in okra is described and inheritance studies have shown it to be governed by a single pair of alleles with the mutant being dominant over normal. The symbol Si is proposed for this trait. The potential of this mutant in a breeding program for yield improvement is discussed. © 1979 American Genetic Association.
