摘要
The feasibility of the Tl-205 solar neutrino experiment depends on the ratio of neutrino induced reactions to background reactions. To study the production of Pb-205 induced by cosmic ray muons deep under ground, we exposed various samples of natural thallium, bismuth, lead and lorandite to the high energy muon beam (M2) of CERN. Targets were irradiated for several days with 280 and 200 GeV positive muons, respectively. Yields for the production of about 30 radioisotopes were measured. Results and conclusions are presented.
