摘要
Gas pycnometry at room temperature has been used to register the adsorption of nitrogen and argon on the surface of specimens of different materials. No appreciable adsorption of helium could be detected. Surface pretreatment was found to have a substantial influence on the density data that were obtained. Feasibility was demonstrated in principle for rapid evaluation of the adsorption capabilities of materials.
