摘要
This work registers in an investigation project which looks for an explanation of the ways in which the question of the body in the system of education and the Uruguayan educative policies is approached, in the period 1985-2005. For that reason, considering the central question of the investigation project (what bodies are made by education and what does education do with the bodies?), a trip through the discursiveness of the program of primary education for the urban schools is shown here, in its 1986 version, trying to identify the key statements that are implied in the knowing and the knowledge of the body to the interior of the education system. The scholastic institution, and especially primary education, constitutes a fundamental space for the corporal constitution (production and reproduction) in a broad sense. In that dynamics, the Physical Education plays a specific role as a pedagogical and didactic instance in relation to the body. Nevertheless, the role that it is assigned to it in the official program of the referred years is absolutely marginal, even though the anatomic-physiological model of the body is the dominant one.
