摘要
The thixotropic behaviour of a hydrogel containing 2.5% microcrystalline cellulose-sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, is studied as a function of electrolyte concentration. Shear stress values were obtained for each concentration in terms of shear rate after different agitation and storage times, at 22-degrees-C. For the same shear rates, the shear stress values were lower the greater NaCl concentration. In addition, the thixotropic area decreased with increasing NaCl concentration and storage time.
