摘要：

Objective. This article aims to present the main material conditions that shaped the human-ethical spirit of man in Ancient Greece. Methodology: For this purpose, the three main foundations on which the idea and life of an ethical, rational and public man was configured are presented in an analytical way. Results and conclusions: The article suggests a careful reading of the ethics concept Ancient Greek had to guide a critical understanding of social dehumanizing dynamics characteristic of the modern world.
