This article's main objective is to analyze and understand the relationship between leadership and organizational climate, and specifically to know how an ineffective leadership can influence or affect the organizational climate. A conceptual review of leadership, ineffective leadership, organizational climate and factors that relate them was performed. The findings show that leadership directly affects the perception that workers have on organizational climate, and that a leadership without vision, without character, with little force and without influence, without committed followers, that does not adapt to different situations, is an ineffective leadership, and an organizational climate that has ineffective leadership will be a negative organizational climate, which will not provide motivation and satisfaction to workers, and generates high levels of stress, dissatisfaction, poor performance, conflict and inefficiency. So it is concluded that ineffective leadership can itself trigger an unsatisfactory climate in organizations.
