摘要：
The relation between religious freedom and freedom of expression has been a subject of study for the ECtHR for a long time. The persistent violations, which are highlighted in relation with the religious freedom in the various reports of the official bodies, invite us to reflect on how much an inadequate exercise of the freedom of expression, a right that is considered almost as absolute in the modern democracies, contributes to this pervasive climate of limitation of the religious freedom. The particular study of the sentence Sekmadienis Ltd. v. Lithuania, in the context of the jurisprudence of the ECtHR about this subject, can provide interesting data that allow to offer an adequate answer to this question.
