摘要：

The article surveys statistical quality inspection and control methods. Areas of application and specific properties of the methods are examined. A comparative economic evaluation of various methods is given with the objective of choosing the most efficient alternative. The publications are surveyed in chronological order. The literature list is divided into Russian books and monographs [1-92], books translated into Russian [93-122], Russian articles [123-137], Soviet standards [138-148], and foreign publications 1149-1631.
