摘要
Using the Thomas-Fermi statistical theory, an asymptotic spatial generalization of Kato's theorem is derived for really heavy atoms characterized by an appropriate screened potential energy. The result links the ground-state electron density with its s wave component, via this potential energy. Finally, the virial theorem is employed to express the kinetic energy in terms of total and s state electron densities.
