摘要
This article presents a reflection on art's, specifically literature and audiovisuals, transformational potential on Education. This reflection results from a research carried out in a Sao Paulo State full period high school, aimed to investigate if there are and which are the impacts of literature and audiovisual articulation on the teaching-learning process. Such reflection is grounded on the Socio-historical Psychology and two major books: "Art Psychology" by Lev Vigotski (1999) and "The right to literature" by Antonio Candido (1988). The understanding is that art's transformative potential is related to the humanization process, which involves the appropriation and confirmation of the human typical characteristics.
