摘要
Twin pregnancy with complete hydatidiform mole and coexistent normal fetus is a rare entity. We report case of a patient of 32 years, admitted in an array of expulsion of an unwanted pregnancy followed by 22 weeks of amenorrhea. The pelvic ultrasound showed the appearance of a combination of a complete hydatidiform mole and a normal singleton fetus. An examination of the placenta and histology confirmed the diagnosis of complete hydatidiform mole associated with a normal fetus. Most studies show that the prognosis of such an association has a high risk of progression to gestational trophoblastic neoplasia. (C) 2014 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
