THE SURFACE-ADSORPTION AND MICELLE FORMATION OF THE SOLUTIONS OF OXAFLUOROCARBON SURFACTANTS AND THEIR MIXTURES WITH HYDROCARBON SURFACTANT

The surface activity, surface adsorption and micelle formation of four oxafluorocarbon surfactants and their mixtures with hydrocarbon surfactants with the same electric charge had been investigated. It had been found that there is remarkable mutual phobic interaction between two surfactants in the mixed adsorption layer. And the both surfactants are tend to form micelles individually in the mixed aqueous solutions. The general equations for calculating the cmc and composition of mixed ideally micelle or adsorption layer were derived. The experimental results showed that the counterion-binding degrees of the micelles of these oxafluorocarbon surfactants are smaller than that of hydrocarbon surfactant.
