摘要
A new secret sharing scheme (SSS) for audio signals called binary audio secret sharing (BASS) to prevent theft and tapping of information on the Internet, is described. The BASS algorithm is based on visual secret sharing (VSS) which is a well-known method to target binary images and shares an original image into random dot images enabling the original to be seen by stacking all the shared images. BASS based on the original VSS makes shared signals to be heard as noise. Proper construction of sharing tables results in the encrypted signals to be heard as distinct and intended sounds and one random noise-like signal. The secrecy of the BASS is remains unaffected after hearing the shared signals as intended sounds.
