A case report: Myocarditis and pulmonary edema after scorpion sting

Scorpion stings cause multiple clinical manifestations such as local skin reactions or fatal multiple organ failure. The most important life threatening event after the sting is cardiac and lung involvement. Because of the mortal complications like pulmonary edema and myocarditis, every child must be kept under surveillance and complications should be closely monitored. In this article, we presented a 4 year-old child who has serious complications such as myocarditis and pulmonary edema after scorpion stings and his follow-up and treatment.
