PHASE COEXISTENCE IN FINITE QUARK-GLUON PLASMA

摘要
The coexisting hadronic and quark-gluon plasma phases are studied in small finite volumes using a simple model. Although the model shows an idealized, strong, first order phase transition the two coexisting phases can be distinguished only for volumes not much smaller than 50 fm(3). This finding has consequences both on experimental and on lattice QCD studies.
