摘要
An algorithm is proposed for describing the elements of objects by various classes of functions. The foundation is given for choosing an image-synthesis technique for objects with a complex configuration by the ray-tracing method so as to describe rotations and translations, not only of the object as a whole, but also of its individual "building blocks." The algorithm for computing the luminance of image points is generalized to allow for scattered illumination.
