摘要
Reservoir simulations of CO2 injection into a water flooded oil reservoir show that significant amounts of oil may be recovered, and a high storage capacity of CO2 is obtained also through displacement of water. Simulated storage capacities for CO2 injection into an aquifer vary in the range 13-68% pore volume, depending on the prevailing displacement mechanisms.
