摘要
The paper describes the performance of a an isolated self-excited single phase induction generator when the excitation capacitor is connected to one winding and the load is connected to the other. Depending upon equivalent circuit, nonlinear simultaneous equations, in the magnetisation reactance and operation frequency, have been used for computer simulation of the two cases. Newton Rhapson numerical method have been found suitable for the solution of the equations. Computer results have been supported by laboratory tests. The model have been used to study the effect, of machine parameters on the general performance of the machine.
