FLUCTUATIONS IN COLUMN OZONE DURING THE TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE OF JULY 11, 1991

摘要
A statistical analysis of total column ozone observations during the total eclipse of July 11, 1991. disclosed a series of fluctuations in the ozonosphere following totality. The principle fluctuation, which began 700 seconds after third contact, has an unsmoothed, peak-to-peak amplitude of 5 m-atm-cm. This amounts to 1.7% of the total ozone column 2000 seconds after third contact. This fluctuation was preceded by one and followed by two fluctuations with reduced amplitude.
