摘要
Resolved electron spin-electron spin coupling has been observed in the EPR spectra of frozen solutions of copper complexes with ligands which contain nitroxyl radicals. The magnitude of the EPR splitting is too large to be accounted for by dipolar interactions. It is concluded that exchange interactions contribute to the observed splittings. Consequently caution should be exercised in calculating metal-nitroxyl distances based on EPR spectra. © 1979 American Chemical Society.
