摘要
The comparison of forward and backward Argand diagrams (instead of partial-wave Argand diagrams) provides a simple and powerful criterion to distinguish between true resonances and pseudoresonances. When applied to the elastic pi d amplitudes, it provides definitive evidence for a pseudoresonance near the Delta N threshold and an upper limit for the partial width of a possible dibaryon resonance.
