EFFECT OF WALL PINNING ON BUBBLE MOTION

摘要
Detailed measurements have been performed at small drive fields in SmYGa garnet bubble material. The results show the existence of an irreversible initial jump of the order of 0.2 μm. The minimum drive-field amplitude needed to achieve a net bubble motion is shown to be dependent on the pulse duration. This dependence is formulated in terms of a thermal-activation law.
