MODE SPECIFIC PHOTODISSOCIATION OF THE B-1(2) STATE OF CS2

摘要
We report results on the dynamics and spectroscopy of the predissociating B-1(2) state of CS2, excited at wavelengths around 200 nm. The atomic S product electronic state branching ratio is a strong function of which band in the B-1(2)(1-SIGMA+u) <-- X1-SIGMA+g system is pumped. K = 0 bands lead to mostly S(P-3(2)) products, while K = 1 bands produce MUCh less S(P-3(2)) and show a marked enhancement of S(1D2).
