DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH ATHEROSCLEROSIS OBLITERANS OF THE LOWER-LIMB ARTERIES

On the basis of 10-year experience in annual medical examination of many thousands of persons the authors conclude that the degree of tissue ischemia and the type of affection of the vascular bed in occlusive diseases of the lower limb arteries can be determined in most cases under conditions of an out-patient clinic of many specialities. Complex treatment of such patients in a one-day clinic stabilizes the general condition of most patients and prevents advancement of the pathological process.
