摘要
Migrants are culturally and economically involved in metropolitan process. In Warsaw, their incoming fostered the revival of traditional Polish multiculturalism, which had been erased in the aftermath of the Second World War. Since its integration to Schengen, Warsaw appears like a bridge between the European Union and Eastern Europe. However, migrants are not equal in metropolitan space. While French migrants spearhead institutional changes leading Warsaw's assertion in globalized networks, Ukrainian undocumented migrants are looking for a new place in the metropolis' brand new economy.
