摘要
A very important aspect considered in the economic sciences concerns the price of land utilized in agriculture and cattle ranching. In the case of Goias, the discussion on land price assumes an even greater importance, as it was one of the key factors behind the agriculture frontier (in which Goias played a major role) dating back to the 1970's. Based on a theoretical-methodological model, which explains rural price formation in Goias, in this work we analyze, through a geostatistical approach, the land price spatial distribution patterns. Our results indicate the dominant role the variable " Location" plays regarding price composition. This is particularly the case regarding the distance to the main consumption markets (e.g.Goiania) and agri-industrial regions (e.g. Rio Verde) in the State.
