摘要
The review reports the most interesting and Important results concerning the problem of low-dimensional magnetism. Particular attention is given to thermodynamic properties of one- and two-dimensional isotropic Heisenberg magnetics. The strengths and weaknesses of various theoretical approaches used for description of these systems are discussed extensively.
