摘要
Effective pair interactions up to the 4-th nearest neighbors have been calculated for TiC(x), NbC(x), TiN(x) and NbN(x) as a function of the vacancy concentration using the KKR-CPA implementation of the generalized perturbation theory. While for the carbides good agreement with experimental data was found, for the nitrides the theory fails to predict the type of ordering presently accepted in the literature.
