Geometric Lattices Generated by Idempotent Matrices over Finite Fields

摘要
A few results on the set of idempotent matrix are obtained over finite field. Then by defining new matrix ordering relation over a certain set of idempotent matrices, a family of geometric lattices is obtained. Its characteristic polynomial is also computed.
