摘要
A data collection system has been built which allows kinetic study of X-ray diffraction from contracting muscle. The system is based on a minicomputer which records times and positions of X-ray quanta detected by a linear position sensitive counter having a spatial resolution of 110 μm (fwhm). Data collected over many repeated cycles of muscle contraction are processed to give useful diffraction diagrams at various phases of the contraction with a best time resolution of 44 μs. The system can also be applied to dynamic studies of small-angle diffraction from other materials. © 1978.
