摘要：

The article determines power losses in solid cylindrical conducting objects in a broad range of change of induction of an ac magnetic field. On the basis of the criterion of almost full magnetization of an object we obtained expressions correlating full and specific losses with the magnetic field strength, frequency, electromagnetic and geometric parameters of the object. The article shows that with the aid of an electromagnetic transducer it is possible simultaneously to determine the differential magnetic permeability and electrical conductivity of the object, and also to evaluate their contribution to the power losses.
