摘要：

One thousand and eighty four milk samples from clinically healthy mammary glands of dairy ewes were collected and examined. Bacteriological examination, somatic cell counting, California Mastitis Test and Whiteside Test were undertaken in all samples. Score ''1'' for California Mastitis Test and score ''1+'' for Whiteside Test are recommended as threshold values for subclinical mastitis, offering at least 93% accuracy of the diagnostic methods.
